New chaplain sworn in for sheriff's department

David C. Bosley, pastor and founder of Dayspring Church, Apostolic located at 2127 Doctors Park Drive, Columbus, was sworn-in by Bartholomew County Sheriff Matt Myers to serve as chaplain at the sheriff's office.

Pastor Bosley, an engineer, previously worked at the Indianapolis Naval Avionics Center before he, his wife (Charlene Bosley) and two children, moved to Columbus, where he worked for Cummins Inc.

Pastor Bosley is a past dean of the Calvary Midwest Bible College and Theological Seminary.

"Chaplains work with law enforcement personnel on a professional level by making themselves available as trained and caring professionals who can assist in times of need to people in crisis situations." said Sheriff Myers.

Bartholomew County Sheriff's Office chaplains provide this service not only to the community, but also to all department employees and their families as well.

Robert Vester is also a Chaplain at the sheriff's office. Vester is associate pastor at Westside Community Church, Columbus.[[In-content Ad]]
