Norman Cabin
As you go across Main Street, you find a log cabin believed to have been built around 1837.This log cabin was found inside larger home outside of town that was been torn down. The cabin was dismantled, brought to town and reconstructed by Gene Norman in 1970. It can be opened for visitors by calling John Norman at 812-546-5618. In the house just south of the cabin, the Normans' display a horse drawn hearse used by Norman's Funeral Home before automobiles. Norman's Funeral Home is the oldest business in town that has been continuously operated by the same family, beginning in 1880.[[In-content Ad]]
