Off-duty deputy arrests Hope man

On Nov. 16, 2015, at approximately 10:02 pm, Bartholomew County Detective Sgt. Chad Swank, while off duty, advised Dispatch of a possible intoxicated driver. Sgt. Swank followed the suspect vehicle until Sgt. Jim Stevens was able to intercept. Deputy Adam Warner initiated a traffic stop which lead to the arrest of Cory Julian, 34, 143 Meadow Place, Hope, IN.
Despite several warnings, Mr. Julian's disruptive behavior also led to a charge of Disorderly Conduct. Julian was transported to the Bartholomew County Jail and remanded on the above listed charges. He remains in Jail in lieu of $11,000.00 bond.
All persons are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
