Petersville United Methodist Church news for Dec. 20th

Scripture to be shared by liturgist Patsy Harris will be from Luke 2:1-20. The Rev. Stormy Scherer-Berry will give the message, emphasizing that more love is found when you least expect it and perhaps is already residing in the ordinariness of your life.
Teresa Covert will give the children's story and the adult choir will sing. The congregation is encouraged to come to church dressed as a character in the story of Jesus's birth; those attending will be participating in the service.
On Christmas Eve, there will be a candlelight service at 7 p.m.
The Bible study groups, the Walking group, and the Prayer group will not meet again until after the beginning of the new year. The United Methodist Men will meet at 7:15 a.m. on January 7.
