Petersville United Methodist Church news for Jan. 5th

Teresa Covert will serve as worship leader and also will give the children's message. The leaders of Junior Church will be Don and Patsy Harris. The congregation is invited to stay after worship and assist with "undecorating" the church from the Christmas season. A time of fellowship will follow, and adult Sunday School will begin at 10:30 a.m.
"Chats with the Pastor" will begin at 3:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the parsonage. People are invited to sign up for other available dates: 6:30 p.m. Jan. 12; 3:30 p.m. Jan. 17; and 6:30 p.m. Jan. 21. All meetings will be at the parsonage. Sign-up sheets are at the church or people may call Pastor Scherer-Berry at 574-780-2379.
The Monday night Bible study classes will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Kimerling and Nolting homes. The Sit and Stitch group will meet at 6:30 p.m., also at the Nolting home. The Walking group will meet at 9 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at FairOaks Mall. The Prayer group, under the leadership of Barb Hedrick, will meet at the church at 10 a.m. each Thursday.
