Petersville United Methodist Church news for May 24th

The Rev. Stormy Scherer-Berry will deliver the message, "Witnesses," at the 9 a.m. worship service Sunday at the church. Liturgist Teresa Covert will share scriptures from John 17:1-11 and Acts 1:6-14. Ms. Covert also will give the Children's Sermon, and the Adult Choir will present a message in song, led by Kathy Bush. Military veterans will be honored during the service. A time of fellowship will follow worship. The class studying Prayer Life, led by Rev. Scherer-Berry, will begin at 10:30 a.m. and is for all ages.
Weekly groups meet as follows:
Baker's Dozen at 6:30 p.m. at the Nolting home
Sit and Stitch will meet at 6:30 p.m., also at the Nolting home
Choir practice at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday
Walkers at 9 a.m. Monday and Wednesday at Fair Oaks Mall
Prayer Group at 10 a.m. Thursday.
