Petersville United Methodist Church news for May 31st

United Methodist Men's group will meet on Sunday morning at 7:15 a.m. The business meeting will be led by Don Harris and Larry Nolting will lead the study book discussion.

The Rev. Stormy Scherer-Berry will deliver the morning message at the 9 a.m. worship service on Pentecost Sunday at the church. The congregation has been invited to wear red clothing as a way of celebrating Pentecost. Teresa Covert will give the children's message. Communion will be served, and Patricia Carroll will be accepted into membership of the church. A time of fellowship will follow the service, and the final class on "Prayer Life" led by Scherer-Berry, will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Weekly groups who are on summer break are the Monday night Bible study groups at the Nolting and Kimerling homes; Sit and Stitch on Tuesday nights at the Noltings.

The Prayer group will continue to meet at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the church. The Walkers will meet on Monday and Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. at Fair Oaks Mall.

Administrative Council will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday night, immediately following choir practice at 6 p.m. Plans are being made for an afternoon of Vacation Bible School on Sunday June 25.
