Robert Dale Foist, 87, Columbus

Before retirement, he was a farmer and a bus driver for BCSC.
He was a member of Burnsville Christian Church, the Elks and Moose Lodge.
He was owner of B-Ville Toys. He enjoyed gardening, canning and woodworking.
The funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Dan Shaw officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Burnsville Christian Church through the funeral home.
Born January 5, 1928, Bob was the son of Leonard D. and Oletha M. French Foist. He married Thelma Esther Bowers Aug. 7, 1949 at Burnsville Christian Church and she survives.
Other survivors include, children, Robert L (Susan) Foist of Columbus, Elizabeth A. (Greg) Barriger of Columbus, and Thomas D. Foist of Youngstown, OH; grandchildren, Thomas M. (Mindy) Barriger of Shelbyville, Gregory T. (Kellie) Barriger of Hayden, Karielle A. Foist of Atlanta, GA and Kelsea D. Foist of Chicago, IL; great grandchildren, Aric W. Barriger of Mosinee, WI, JoAnn E. Barriger of Hayden and a brother, Carroll (Marilyn) Foist of Columbus.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Martha L. Howe.[[In-content Ad]]
