Roger D. Bragg, 65, of Hope

Roger D. Bragg, 65, of Hope, died Sunday Dec. 31, 2017 at Columbus Regional Hospital.

He had been employed as a stock clerk at Mickey's T-Mart in Shelbyville and Thrifty Mart in Columbus.

He was of Baptist faith. He collected NASCAR memorabilia. He was a Hauser Jet fan and loved IU and the New York Yankees.

Born June 14, 1952 in Edmonton, Kentucky, Roger was the son of Guy and Patria Harper Bragg. He married Linda Coomer on June 23, 1973, and she survives.

Other survivors include, children, Steve Bragg of Columbus, Kimberly Bragg-Anderson of Hope and Derek (Natasha) Bragg of Columbus; grandchildren, Skyler, Rebecca and Caydin Anderson, all of Hope; a great granddaughter, Bailee Lock of Hope; and a brother, Malcolm (Judy) Bragg of Hope.

The funeral for Roger will be Friday, Jan. 5th at 2 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. until service time.

Burial will be at Hawcreek Cemetery.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Kenneth Bragg.[[In-content Ad]]
