Rosie Christine Elmore, 73, Hope

Rosie Christine Elmore, 73, of Hope passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 20th, 2015 at her home.

She attended Grace Tabernacle of Edinburgh. She was a housewife and enjoyed playing with her great-grandchildren and spending time with family. Rosie loved life, especially meeting little children whom she considered to be God's angels. In her heart she adopted them all. She enjoyed fishing, going to church, collecting old costume jewelry, red carnival glass and flea marketing.

The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Reverend Virl Murray officiating. Burial will follow at Hope Moravian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be donated to American Diabetes Association through the funeral home.

Born Jan. 15th, 1942 in Clay County, TN, Rosie was the daughter of Harlan and Ida Mae Denton Trobaugh. She married Marchel Elmore on March 26, 1962 in Clay County, TN and he survives.

Survivors include her husband; daughter, Denna (John) Hendrix of Hope; grandchildren, Alisha (Steve) Robinson, Christina (Tim Greene) Elmore, and Hannah (Eric) Moody, all of Hope; Heather (James) Smith of Westport, Michelle Dailey of Indianapolis, and Tiffany (Chris) Scheidt of Columbus; 9 great-grandchildren with one on the way; brother-in-law, Eulas Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Rosie is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Crystal Elmore; siblings, Eunice Trough, Clarence (Nellie) Trough, Verse (Arlie) Littrell, Vina Smith, Ernest Trough, and Lawrence (Jo) Trough.[[In-content Ad]]
