Shelby County driver dies on 800N accident

On Aug. 11, 2017, approx. 6:34 a.m., Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies were dispatched to a traffic accident at County Road 800N east of County Road 100E. On arrival, deputies located a vehicle lying on its side. The sole occupant, identified as Christopher Ryan Johnson, 26, Edinburgh was pronounced deceased at the scene by Bartholomew County Coroner Clayton Nolting.
No other vehicle(s) were involved.
The accident remains under investigation by the Bartholomew County Sheriff's Office. Deputy Jeff Tindell was the primary deputy on scene and was assisted by Sgt. T.A. Smith, Deputy Nick Martoccia, German Township Fire Department, Columbus Regional Hospital EMS and the Bartholomew County Coroner's Office.[[In-content Ad]]
