Bartholomew County Sheriff's K9 Deputy, Sgt. Kris Weisner, and his K9 companion, Bolt, have returned from specialized retraining in areas that include: protocols, the detection of narcotics, tracking suspects, locating evidence at crime scenes and vehicle inspections.
K9 law enforcement training is very intensive and requires a great deal of time. It is important that Sgt. Weisner and Bolt have a strong relationship of trust and confidence in order to be an effective team.
