Sheriff's department to host summer youth academy
The Bartholomew County Sheriff's Office will hold its first Summer Youth Academy June 9th to 12th at CERAland Park.
Applicants must be between the ages of 7 and 15 and live in Bartholomew County. Applications are being accepted until May 11th.
The cost is $25 per participant with several scholarships available for those needing assistance.
This is a day camp with lunch provided. Attendees must provide their own appropriate swim suit.
Participating agencies include: the Bartholomew County Sheriff's Office, Columbus Police Department, Indiana State Police, Indiana Conservation Officers, Indiana State Excise and Homeland Security.
