Task force raids suspected drug house in county

Columbus police officers stopped a vehicle in which Angela Spencer was a passenger on March 13 at 11:53 p.m.
Officers confirmed that Spencer had three outstanding Bartholomew County warrants and also found her to be in possession of methamphetamine. Spencer was arrested and taken to the Bartholomew County Jail.
Through an investigation, it was determined that Ms. Spencer obtained the methamphetamine from Stephanie Cecil, 28, 107 11th St., Elizabethtown.
On the evening of March 14, The Bartholomew County Joint Narcotics Enforcemetn Team, deputies from the Bartholomew County Sheriff's Office, officers from the Columbus Police Department and CPD COPPS unit executed a search warrant at Cecil's residence and seized and dismantled a methamphetamine distribution operation. In addition to a large amount of paraphernalia, drugs and drug-dealing equipment were also seized.
During the execution of the search warrant, Travis Sneed, 23, was found hiding under the bed. Sneed and Cecil were arrested and taken to the Bartholomew County Jail.

Spencer, 39, 1819 Hiker Trace, Columbus, also remains in BCJ in lieu of $127,500.00 bond on preliminary charges of:
