United Way 2-1-1 offers text service

United Way 2-1-1, South Central Indiana's community information and referral service, is adding text messaging services to its center.
In addition to being a call center, we are becoming a contact center with more options to connect to resources. Two-way texting is available by texting your zip code to TXT211 (898-211), residents can have a text message conversation with a trained specialist and get connected with resources via the
text messaging service Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
United Way 2-1-1 is a service that provides assistance to connect and refer residents to health and human service resources. Currently, United Way 2-1-1 South Central Indiana serves Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, Jennings, Orange, Scott, and Washington counties in southern Indiana.
2-1-1 will still offer the call and web search (www.referweb.net/uwbc) options. These are available 24/7/365.[[In-content Ad]]
