Wanda Charlene Hadley, 68, Hope

Wanda Charlene Hadley, 68, of Hope, passed away on Saturday, June 20th, 2015 at her home.

She was a nurse practitioner and was employed at Volunteers in Medicine. She was also clinic director and one of the founding members. She had previously been employed at Columbus Pediatrics and at Columbus Regional Hospital in Pediatrics.

Wanda was a member of Newbern United Methodist Church and enjoyed crocheting.

The funeral will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Carl Greene officiating. Burial will follow at Newbern Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to service time on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be donated to Volunteers in Medicine through the funeral home.

Born August 25, 1946 in Greene County, Wanda was the daughter of Charles and Easter Wise Alford. She married Arthur Hadley on March 19th, 1977 and he survives. Wanda and Arthur were introduced to each other in the same house that they lived in now.

Survivors include her husband; daughter, Beth (Josh) Grube of Seymour; grandson, Keaton Grube of Seymour; siblings, Susie Kutter of Cambridge City, Betty (Fred) Lucas of Morgantown, and Mike (Nancy) Alford of Dublin, IN.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents.[[In-content Ad]]
