Wear denim on Wednesday to raise awareness of sexual assault
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and "Wear Denim with a Purpose" Day is Wednesday, April 29th.
The Bartholomew County Sheriff's Office is allowing all jail personnel (except court security, transports and work crew leader) and all other non-uniformed personnel to wear appropriate denim jeans on April 29th.
Approximately 10 million people across the country participated in Wear Denim with a Purpose in 2014.
Make a social statement by wearing denim jeans on Wednesday, April 29th as a visible means to protest against the misconceptions and destructive attitudes that surround sexual assault.[[In-content Ad]]
