Yellow Trail open house set for Thursday
The museum, on the north side of the Town Square, has purchased the neighboring building, formerly owned by Greg Spurling and Associates. That was with the aid of a grant from Heritage Fund: the Bartholomew County Community Foundation.
The new area has been refurbished including the restoration of the original hardwood floors and tin ceiling, new paint and lighting and the recreation of an archway connecting the two buildings. The museum will be including the Clouse wagon in the new space, along with other exhibits. The Clouse family took the wagon from North Carolina to their new home in Hope in the 1800s. The wagon had been displayed in the former Rural Mail Carrier's Museum on the Town Square.[[In-content Ad]]
