Yellow Trail visitor center to launch Saturday
Beginning Saturday April 1st, you will find the museum open Thursdays-Sundays, noon to 6 p.m., and with extended hours during special events in town.
Thanks to a new partnership with the Columbus Area Visitors Center, the Yellow Trail will have visitor information available during all open hours, plus the museum will be open for guests to visit additional hours each week.
Paige Waltz will be serving as our museum greeter as she helps people find interesting things to see and do in Hope and all of Bartholomew County and beyond.
Saturday, will be our first official day, April 1, as Paige begins to learn her new job. We will be having an official "Grand Opening" a little later, once a new reception desk and a few other new remodeling jobs are complete.
In the meantime, we would like to invite you to come to the museum to see what is happening there. We will be closed until April 1st to get things ready, but we will then welcome everyone as you can view the Clouse Wagon, a model of the Hope Town Square in the '30s and '40s, our doctor's office, grocery store, barber shop, pharmacy, mail carriers display, plus a printing press and additional displays about Hope's newspapers from the past.
Admission to the museum and visitors information center is always free. Come and learn about our community and our county![[In-content Ad]]
