Hauser tennis wins opening bout

Hauser pulled out a three-set win to defeat Shelbyville in their season opener.

Ethan Wallace beat Austin Dwenger 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 singles for the Jets. Sean Miller beat Austin Perry 6-1, 6-7 (7-4) at No. 2 singles, and Aaron Mee beat Alex Knarr 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3 singles.

Hauser’s Jacob Luken and Keagan Miller fell to Connor Phelps and Luke Asher 1-6, 1-6 at No. 1 doubles, and Tyler Moore and Caleb Hoover lost to Layton Stieneker and Matthew Bunton at No. 2 doubles 4-6, 3-6.
