Hauser grad to share 500 mile hiking stories

Troy Love, a Hauser graduate and retired Columbus police officer will be celebrating the completion of his 500 mile hike to raise money for Blue Tassel Farm with an event Saturday at WiLLow LeaVes of Hope.

The Hike 4 Hope was a fundraising effort for the farm, which raises awareness for the plight of inner-city kids and those struggling in poverty. The farm is  is a nonprofit just outside of the Hope area whose lead missionary is Pastor Tim McNamee, also a Hauser graduate.

Saturday's event starts at 6 p.m. and is a spaghetti dinner fundraiser. Love will share stories and pictures from the hike. There will also be music performed by Hauserboys, which has Hauser graduates from five different classes. 

The event is for adults only and admission is $1. You will be asked to make a gift at the end of the evening.
