Sheriff to hold neighborhood meeting in Clay Township

By Bartholomew County Sheriff's Department-

Press release

The Bartholomew County Sheriff's Department is resuming its series of neighborhood meetings on Wednesday with a session at the Clay Township Volunteer Fire Department Station at 9922 E 25th Street in Petersville. The meeting will start at 6 p.m.

In an effort to strengthen BCSO’s partnership with residents, Sheriff Matthew A. Myers began scheduling a series of community meetings immediately after taking office in 2015. These meetings have allowed residents to discuss issues important to them and to see how their sheriff’s office can better serve people and businesses in all areas of Bartholomew County.

“These meetings have created opportunities for us to have informal conversations about issues important to particular areas of our county,” said Myers.

You do not need to live in Clay Township to attend. Bartholomew County residents are invited to any/all of the Sheriff’s neighborhood meetings. If you would like to schedule a meeting in your neighborhood, you can email Myers at [email protected]
