Hauser student dies after illness

A Hauser student has died after an illness according to school officials.

Trevor Frazee died from a sudden cardiac arrest, according to an announcement from Flat Rock-Hawcreek schools.

"We ask that our FRHC family respect the family’s wishes of privacy during this incredibly tragic time," according to the announcement from Superintendent Shawn Price.

Price said that staff members will be available in the school auditorium today to assist any students in need.

All of Hauser's Thursday night activities were canceled out of respect for the family, Price said.
