David R. Troth, 51, of Hope
David R. Troth, 51, of Hope, died Thursday Nov. 29, 2018 at Willow Crossing Healthcare.
He had been employed as a security supervisor for Securitas and Ceraland.
He was a life member of the NRA, was an umpire for 28 years and a member of U.S.S.A. He loved fishing, shooting guns, playing softball. He loved football and played in high school for Columbus East. He followed Hauser sports and was an avid sports fan.
David’s funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with pastors Ed Boston and Tim Dillingham officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 and Thursday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Hope Summer Playground.
Born Nov. 13, 1967 in Columbus David was the son of Carolyn Meek Troth. He was also raised by his adopted father Michael Meek. He married Marina Hull October 27, 2001.
Survivors include his mother Carolyn of Indianapolis; his wife Marina of Hope; a daughter, Kristina Troth of Columbus; grandson, Brennan David Howard of Columbus; a brother, William (Amber) Meek of Columbus and several nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.
David was preceded in death by his father Michael; his grandparents, Howard and Hazel and Guy and Violet Meek and an uncle, Gary Troth.
