Hope churches offer Friday service for those in grief

Hope United Methodist Church is hosting a Blue Christmas Service Friday for those suffering from grief this Christmas season.

The program, starting at 7 p.m. Friday, is for those having trouble finding joy this time of year due to the loss of family, friend, jobs or for other reasons. It is a worship service acknowledging not everyone is happy this time of year. You are invited to come and allow us to be with you on the longest night of the year. 

The church is at 432 Washington St. in Hope. The service is sponsored by the Hope, Flat Rock, Hawcreek Ministerial Association.
