Free children's lunches to continue through July

The Flat Rock-Hawcreek Food Service department has announced that they will be continuing the summer feeding program at Hope Elementary through July 31st. 

The free lunches for all students ages 18 and younger was set to expire on June 29th. 

The program will be closed this week, July 2nd through 6th, for a break. Lunch service will resume on July 9th from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Hope Elementary. The extension was approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Meals for children 18 and younger are free and adult lunches are $2.
