Weekend programs for Yellow Trail today, Sunday
The Yellow Trail Museum would like to invite all area kids to come to the museum today, Saturday, May 5th, for the monthly Saturday Sampler.
This free program will be about "Farm Animals." Each session, held the first Saturday of each month, includes some historical information, hands-on activities which this month involves meeting real animals, and a snack for all. Each Saturday Sampler begins at 10 a.m. and lasts about one hour at the Yellow Trail Museum.
Parents are encouraged to stay with children throughout the program .
This Sunday, May 6, starting at 2 p.m., everyone is invited to the Yellow Trail Museum to share stories about Hope, Hartsville, Clifford, and St. Louis Crossing. Or you are welcome to come to just listen.
A few months ago, the Yellow Trail Museum started holding discussion groups on Tuesday mornings for groups to share some coffee and donuts and talk about life in our community from the past. It has been suggested that we change the discussion groups to Sundays to accommodate a bigger crowd.
Light refreshments will be served as we laugh together and share memories at this free program.
