Ivy Tech offering college introduction Thursday

Ivy Tech Community College in Columbus is inviting high school students and their parents to a special event Nov. 15th to learn about the College and how to navigate the necessary steps for enrolling.
College 101 at Ivy Tech Columbus will be from 6-8 p.m. November 15 at the Columbus Learning Center, 4555 Central Ave. The open house-style event will offer students and their families the opportunity to have one-on-one conversations with Ivy Tech faculty and staff to find out what opportunities Ivy Tech offers.
All high school students, whether they are looking to complete a certificate or degree and enter the workforce quickly or pursue a four-year degree, are welcome to attend College 101. Ivy Tech staff from admissions, dual credit, financial aid, and more will also be available to share information with students about the enrollment process and how Ivy Tech can help them earn a college degree.
Event check-in will begin at 6 p.m. at the main entrance of Poling Hall. Optional campus tours will be from 6:30 to 7 p.m. and 7 to 7:30 p.m. Academic program areas and lab spaces will be open to interested students throughout the evening. Complimentary appetizers and refreshments will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
