Hope man injured in 25th Street crash

A Hope man was flown by Lifeline helicopter to an Indianapolis hospital after a single-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on rural 25th Street.
On Sept. 19, at about 2:08 a.m., Bartholomew County Sheriff's Department Deputy Adam Warner was patrolling in the 8300 block of East 25th Street when he discovered the single-vehicle traffic accident. The vehicle had run off the roadway striking multiple mailboxes and a utility pole before coming to rest in the front yard of a residence.
The driver, identified as Jordan Shehan, 24, of Hope, was transferred to IU Methodist Hospital by Lifeline. His condition is unknown at the time of this release.
Agencies assisting at the scene included Columbus Police Department, Columbus Regional Hospital EMS, Columbus Township Fire Dept., Clay Township Fire Dept., and Lifeline.
