By HSJ Online [email protected]

Bartholomew County Sheriff Matt Myers has scheduled a neighborhood meeting in Hope, set for 6 p.m. Oct. 25th.

The discussion will include a school resource officer for Flat Rock-Hawcreek Schools but residents will also be able to to discuss issues important to them and to see how their Sheriff’s Office can better serve people and businesses in all areas of Bartholomew County.

The sheriff began scheduling community meetings after taking office in 2015, in an effort to strengthen partnerships with residents. The meetings are  informal conversations about issues important to residents of particular areas of the county but are open to any county residents.

If you would like to schedule a meeting in your neighborhood, you can email the sheriff at [email protected]
