Hope man with outstanding warrants arrested

Columbus police arrested a Hope, Indiana man with five Bartholomew County Warrants during a traffic stop on Thursday afternoon.
At approximately 3:40 p.m., CPD officers stopped a vehicle near 13th Street and Michigan Avenue after observing the car did not have a license plate displayed.
The officers spoke with the driver of the vehicle, Chanceton M. Daniels, 25, of Hope, Indiana and determined that he had a suspended driver’s license. Officers also confirmed five Bartholomew County warrants for Daniels’ arrest.
Daniels was taken into custody without incident and he was later remanded to the Bartholomew County Jail on the above charges.
