Druscilla Ann Huntsman, 80, of Shelbyville
Druscilla Ann Huntsman, 80, of Shelbyville, died Tuesday February 26, 2019 at Our Hospice of South Central Inpatient Facility.
She had retired from working in the laundry department at some local nursing homes. In the 90’s she owned and operated the Filling Station Restaurant in Hope along with her husband Oscar.
Born December 11, 1938 in Hope, Druscilla was the daughter of Chalmers Ross and Dorothy F. Updike Tetrick. She married Oscar Huntsman July 21, 1956 and he preceded her in death August of 2008.
Druscilla was attending Hope Wesleyan Church and had previously attended West Street United Methodist Church in Shelbyville. She was a member of Hoosier Doll Club and had been a member of Club 24. Druscilla enjoyed going to auctions and was a collector of many things. She was an avid bowler and loved her dogs.
She is survived by daughters, Lee Ann (Mark) Eberhart of Shelbyville, Neta (Lewis) Shinolt of North Vernon and Christine (Troy) Green of North Vernon; grandchildren, Christopher Eberhart of Shelbyville and Danielle, Hannah and Phoebe Green all of North Vernon.
There will be visitation for Druscilla Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. A graveside service will follow at Hope Moravian Cemetery with Pastor Reid Walker officiating.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Druscilla was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Betty Bailey.
