Cruise-in for fun tonight on Hope Town Square
You can enjoy music, contests, cornhole and cars tonight on the Hope Town Square as the community continues its summer-long First Fridays Cruise-In to Hope event at 5 p.m.
The free, family- friendly event, which runs now through October, is sponsored by Main Street of HOPE.
All vehicles, makes and models are welcome and those who would like to showcase their ride are invited to arrive early to set up around 4 p.m.
Each month the cruise-in features live entertainment and contests, including a baby contest tonight. There is still time to enter. You can register for $5 at the shelterhouse and prizes are being donated by Jana Jones Photography, Zaharakos, Dairy Queen and Chuck E. Cheese.
Tonight's music is Top Hat Blues Review which start at 6 p.m. on the bandstand
There will be a baking contest in August. The cruise-in will also offer its appreciation and support each month for various organizations and vehicle classes, such as military appreciation in July and motorcycle and Jeep appreciation in August and October.
