Pharmacy moving to telepharmacy service

Hope Wellness Pharmacy will be the first pharmacy in the state to operate with both a part-time pharmacist on site, and a telepharmacy.

The pharmacy owners say that their conversion to a telepharmacy is complete and is only the second telepharmacy in the state. The hybrid model being used here means having a pharmacist on site for two days during the week to provide immunizations and in-person medication therapy management. On the days and times were the pharmacist is not available to be on site, customers will be able to have a video chat with a pharmacist off-site for consultations. 

The company owners say that customers can still expect the same level of personalized service they have always received at Hope Wellness Pharmacy. 

In addition to the upgrades for the video conferencing, the store is including 24/7 security recording.

Anderson Burris Inc. opened Hope Wellness Pharmacy in April 2017 to provide pharmacy services to the community of Hope and surrounding areas.
