Community winterization project to benefit Student's Fund of Hope
J&J Property Brothers is partnering with the Student's Fund of Hope for a home winterization project to help families stay warm this winter.
The project will be helping seven families prepare for the winter weather. Work will include cleaning gutters, plastic wrapping windows, checking furnaces and changing filters, caulking around doors and windows and some insulation improvements.
The company is looking for help both with manpower and with monetary donations. Anyone with experience in general handyman skills, electrical, heating and air, or plumbing can contact the company at the number below.
Financial donations are being sought to cover the cost of the project, and any excess donations above that will go to the Student's Fund of Hope.
This is a non-profit event and no sales of any kind will be made.
The work is set for Oct. 26th, with a rain date of Nov. 9th.
