Orva Dean Huntsman, 83, of Columbus

Orva Dean Huntsman, 83, of Columbus passed away on April 14, 2020 at her home.

Before retirement, Orva was the owner and operator of Terra Pottery and Gift Shop with her husband.

Growing up, she was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Orva enjoyed growing flowers, gardening, sewing, and ceramics.

Born on Dec. 10, 1936 in Somerset, KY, Orva was the daughter of Charles and Goldie Brown Mounce. She married Glenn Huntsman on July 13, 1956.

Survivors include husband, Glenn of Columbus; daughter, Debbie (Nathan) Arnholt of Columbus; grandchildren, Jason (Brandi Coy) Arnholt of Grammer and Nicholas (Rod) Arnholt Stark of Bloomington; great-grandchildren, Cailyn and Lynley Arnholt; and brothers, Pearl Mounce of Kentucky and Carlos (Phyllis) Mounce of Hope.

Orva is preceded in death by parents; and brothers, Albert and Ray Mounce.

A private family viewing will be at Norman Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be at Flat Rock Cemetery with Pastor Mark Teike officiating.
