Loretta J. Watkins Burch Baute, 68, of Columbus, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020 at her home.
Loretta enjoyed the outdoors, camping, bonfires, and family picnics.
Born on August 8, 1951 in Brooklyn, NY, Loretta was the daughter of Thomas Farrell and Patricia Wolfert Hagan. She married Larry Watkins and he preceded her in death in 1975. She married DeWayne Baute and he preceded her in death on July 16, 2014.
Survivors include children, Trish (Joe) Allen of Sheridan, IN, David (Mindy) Burch of Kalamazoo, MI, and Corrie Burch of Columbus; grandchildren, Brae Allen, Sydney (Ryne) Shoemaker, Sophia Burch, Paxton Burch, Knoxley Villa, and Elias Villa; and great-grandchild, Avery Shoemaker; brothers, John Farrell, Paul (Deb) Roscoe, and Steve Roscoe; sister, Nancy Roscoe; nieces, Crystal Mellinger, Shannon (Bill) Callon, and Danielle Anderson; nephew, Doug Carter; ex-husband, Darren Burch, and mother-in-law, Shirley Howlett.
Loretta is preceded in death by her parents; husbands; son, Scott Watkins; brothers, Tommy Farrell, Bub Roscoe, and Frank Farrell; and sisters, Joann Reeves and Lori Roscoe Hardin.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Cremation will follow and inurnment will take place at Garland Brook Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to help with funeral expenses.
