Arrest made in Hartsville domestic incident

A Columbus man was arrested after a domestic battery reported in Hartsville.
Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in Hartsville at about 12:03 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20th.
Deputy Jessica Pendleton arrived on scene and made contact with the complainant who reported that Paul Richard Comstock, 52, Columbus, had battered her inside her home.
Comstock was arrested on the following preliminary charges:
- Domestic Battery
- Invasion of Privacy
- Intimidation
- Criminal Confinement
- Interfering with the Report of a Crime
All persons are considered innocent unless/until proven guilty in a court of law.
Bartholomew County Sheriff Matthew A. Myers reached out to victims of domestic violence.
