Evelyn M. Trisler, 84, of Hope

Evelyn M. Trisler, 84, of Hope passed away Wednesday July 15, 2020 at Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born June 29, 1936 Evelyn was the daughter of Daulty and Helen Schneider Bunting. She married Lewis Eugene Trisler September 24, 1955 and he preceded her in death April 17, 2012.

Evelyn was a member of Hope Wesleyan Church and enjoyed being involved in church activities and helping where needed. She also loved cooking and doing crafts.

Evelyn is survived by a son, Mark (Tamma) Trisler of Hope; a daughter, Sharen Dooley of Shelbyville; son-in-law, Jon Dooley of Hope; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Hardy of Seymour, Jonathan Dooley (Stephanie Barber) of Greensburg; great grandchildren, Josey Hardy of Seymour, Liam Dooley, James Dooley and Aubrey Dooley all of Greensburg; a sister, Judith Sitco of Greensburg.

There will be a viewing for Evelyn Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday morning at the funeral home. There will be a private funeral with Evelyn’s nephews, Brad Douglas and Paul Bunting officiating. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be donated to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana at 2626 E. 17th St., Columbus, IN 47201.

When visiting the funeral home it is required that social distancing guidelines be followed and masks be worn.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Scott Trisler and brothers, Everett and Bob Bunting.
