Hope police adding restrictions for virus protection
By Hope Police Department-
Press Release
Effective immediately, the Hope Police Department will be implementing temporary restrictions on access to our facility.
While the lobby will remain open, no unauthorized personnel, including members of the public, will be allowed to travel beyond the lobby. This will affect some of the administrative services we provide, such as fingerprinting services and handgun permits.
This will not affect our officers' response to emergency calls for service.
The department continues to monitor the situation concerning COVID-19 and is working with our partners at the Bartholomew County Health Department and the Hope Fire Department.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We encourage members of the public to contact our office at 812-546-4015 during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) before traveling to the police department to be sure the administrative services you seek have not been temporarily suspended.
