Phelps announces changes to clerk's office procedures

Here is how we are proceeding following the closed access to the public at the courthouse.

- Marriage License Applications are being done by appointment only at limited times. Please call the office at 812/379-1600 to schedule. Applications should be started online at the County Website - Bartholomew

- Child Support Payments: Please use the drop box located inside the courthouse doors on 3rd Street. Child Support Payments are CASH ONLY.

- Criminal & Judgment/Restitution Payments: Please use the drop box located inside the courthouse doors on 3rd Street. Cash or Money Order accepted. You must include your cause number. See instructions/requirements posted by the drop box.

- Criminal Payments Online: Payments for fines and fees can be made online at mycase.in.gov by searching with your cause number or with your first & last name only in Bartholomew County. There will be a convenience fee when paying online. Criminal cases paying restitution will not be able to make online payments.

- Traffic Ticket Payments: Payments can be made at public.courts.in.gov Search with your ticket UTT number or by your name. There will be a convenience fee when paying online.
