Joshawa Wayne Coy, 21, of Hope
Joshawa Wayne Coy, 21 of Hope passed away Tuesday May 5, 2020 at his home.
He was employed at Clifty Creek Golf Course and also worked in industrial cleaning.
Born Nov. 23, 1998 in Columbus, Josh was the son of Joe Coy of Hope and Brenda Humbel of North Vernon.
Josh loved spending time with his family. He loved the outdoors, especially hiking with his friends. He was an animal lover, especially his dogs.
He is survived by his parents, Joe Coy and Brenda Humbel (Charlie); sister, Emily (Shane) Campbell of Hope; nieces, Peyton Campbell of Washington and Haylin Campbell of Hope; aunts, Susan (Tony) Wilson of Hope, Sally Willey of Shelbyville, Stephanie Bowers of Edinburgh, Bobbi (John) Dailey of Hope and Teresa Hadley of Hope; uncle, Rick (Barb) Rollins of Columbus; cousins, Brandi Coy and Michael Brock who were like siblings and many other cousins.
Josh was preceded in death by, grandparents, Donald Wayne Coy, Judith Guinn, Joan and Jerry Rollins and William Emmerson Phares and uncle Craig Phares.
There will be a private family viewing and service for Josh at Norman Funeral Home and cremation is planned.
In lieu of flowers, Josh’s family would like memorial contributions to be sent to the Bartholomew County Humane Society at P.O. 1088, Columbus, IN 47201.
