Clifford man arrested on child molesting charges

Press Release
An investigation that began in January 2019, has led to the arrest of Bret A. Caldwell, 55, Clifford, on the following preliminary charges:
Child Molesting – 2 counts – Level 1 Felony
Sexual Misconduct with a Minor – 2 counts – Level 4 Felony
Sexual Battery – Level 6 Felony
Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor – Level 6 Felony
Caldwell remains in the Bartholomew County Jail in lieu of $1 million bond.
All persons are considered innocent unless/until proven guilty in a court of law.
