Jon Mark Dillman, 55, of Clifford
Jon Mark Dillman, 55, of Clifford passed away Tuesday November 30, 2021 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Born November 2, 1966 he was the son of Donald W. and Rena Blake Dillman.
Jon was employed at the Hope Police Department as a communications dispatcher and the Hartsville Post Office. He had previously been employed at the Bartholomew County Sherriff’s Department and the Walt Disney World Resort. He had the National Certification for an E.M.T.
Jon was a member of the Hartsville Masonic Lodge and a previous member of Hope and Clifford Volunteer Fire Departments.
He enjoyed camping and riding his motorcycle. Jon was an avid Disney fan and enjoyed collecting Disney memorabilia.
Jon is survived by his mother Rena Dillman of Hope; brother, Darrell (Dana) Dillman of Pittsboro; niece, Jessica (Mike) Goss of Pittsboro; nephew, Blake Dillman of Indianapolis and great niece, Nora L. Goss of Pittsboro.
There will be a funeral service for Jon Friday, December 3 at 1:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Brother Reggie McLaurine officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. As per Jon’s wishes, cremation is planned and burial of his cremains will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be donated to the Hope Shop With A Cop Program. Checks should be made payable to the Town of Hope.
Jon was preceded in death by his father Donald Dillman and grandparents, Shirley and Jessie Dillman and Clifton and Nola Blake.
