Franklin L. McClintic, 78 of Morristown

Franklin L. McClintic, 78 of Morristown, IN passed away Friday October 1, 2021 at I.U. Health Methodist Hospital.

Born May 23, 1943 in Marion, IN, he was the son of Leslie and Lenora Zinn McClintic. He married Rita Shrum July 21, 1979 and she survives.

Other survivors include, children, Sherri (James) Anderson of Greenfield, Mark (Beth) McClintic of Muncie and Robert (Kendra) McClintic of Greensburg; grandchildren, Nathaniel, LeAndra, Shayla and Luke Anderson of Greenfield, Melissa and Mark, Jr. McClintic of Muncie; sisters, Myrtle (Dale) Moore of Muncie and Mary (Joe) Stunek of Greenville, TN.

There will be a funeral for Franklin Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. The service will be officiated by Revs. Kenneth Beaton and Wendell Kirkman. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Hawcreek Cemetery.

Franklin attended Bible Holiness Church in Muncie, IN. He was a member of FFA.

Franklin was a workaholic and enjoyed it. He enjoyed talking with people about cars and selling cars, furniture and firewood.

Franklin was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Rebecca Allen and brother in law, Edgar Allen.
