Amy Marie Wood, 31, of Hope

Amy Marie Wood, 31, of Hope, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 18, 2021.

Amy was employed in the accounting department at PMG Corporation. She graduated from Hauser High School in 2008. She received an associate’s degree in accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Born on July 14, 1990 in Columbus, Amy was the daughter of Michael and Donna Smith Harden. She married Andrew Wood on September 19, 2015.

Amy was a Disney lover. She enjoyed planning events and parties.

Survivors include her husband, Andrew of Hope; daughter, Hudson Wood of Hope; parents, Michael and Donna Harden of Columbus; siblings, Jason Colon of Tennessee, Jennifer (Jackie) Hadley of Columbus; and Amber Whittington of Hope; mother-in-law, Anna Evans of Columbus; father-in-law, Scott (Dena) Wood of Hope; sister-in-law, Megan (Tyler) DeSpain of Franklin; niece, Breanna Hadley; nephew, Connor Deaton; nephew, Bryce Hadley; niece, Azlyn Whittingon; niece, Reese DeSpain; nephew, Xander DeSpain; grandma, Mildred Harden of Columbus; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Norman Funeral Home with Tommy Asbury officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hawcreek Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be donated to a memorial fund for Amy’s daughter, Hudson. Checks may be made to Andrew Wood.
