Jason A. Hopkins, 41, of Hope passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022 at I.U. Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Jason was born April 7, 1980 at the Bartholomew County Hospital in Columbus, a son of David and Cathy (Ferguson) Hopkins, both of Hope. He was a graduate of Hauser High School and he was employed with Creative Tool and Machining. Jason was a family man who enjoyed the outdoors, especially sitting around a fire. He also took great pride in his career.
Surviving is his wife, Amber (Bryant) Hopkins of Hope; children, Rachel Hopkins of Columbus; Brooke Hopkins; and Caleb Hopkins, both of Hope; sister, Brandi Jessie of Tucson, AZ; and many aunts; uncles, nieces; and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Funeral service was Friday, February 11, 2022 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home in Columbus. Memorial donations may be made to Students’ Fund of Hope.
