Pastor Ed Cottrell Receives Award
Pastor Ed Cottrell of the Hope United Methodist Church received the District 10 MacQueen Excellence Award at the Hope Volunteer Fire Department Christmas dinner. He received the award for his community service for over 25 years as an EMT. Before serving in Hope Rev. Cottrell served with the Indianapolis Ambulance Service. He started in Warren Township in 1977 and has been a member of the Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Association and EMS for forty-four years. The pastor came to Hope with his wife Lyla Cottrell in 2018 to serve as pastor of the United Methodist Church.
