Bernard Oren Weesner, 81, of Campbellsburg

Bernard Oren Weesner, 81, of Campbellsburg, Indiana passed away Sunday March 13, 2022 at his residence.

Born March 24, 1940 in Miami County, Indiana he was the son of Oren and Louise Daily Weesner. He married Karen Fulp Weesner March 24, 1999 and she survives in Campbellsburg.

Other survivors include children, Sheryl (Stephanie) Mikel of Smyrna, TN, Mitchell (Faith) Weesner of Peru, IN and step son, Sean Warner of Columbus; grandchildren, Ashley (Jim) Templeton of Noblesville, Michael (Darian) Weesner of Kokomo, IN and Kristopher Weesner of Kokomo, IN; great grandchildren, Evalyn Weesner of Kokomo,IN, Seth Stone and Xander Stone, both of Noblesville; daughter-in-law, Jana Weesner of Kokomo, IN.

Bernard was employed for 31 years for Chrysler. He had previously also worked at Lowe’s and the most recent was farming.

He was a member of Posey Chapel in Campbellsburg.

He enjoyed raising livestock and farming.

There will be visitation at Posey Chapel in Campbellsburg Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. The minister there is Pastor Wilbur Stone. Bernard’s funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Visitaion will be at the funeral home one hour prior to service time. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Bernard was preceded in death by his parents; son, Vernon Weesner and sister, Ruth Butler.
