Jesse Wayne Bragg, 18, Hope
Born on August 25, 2004 at St. Vincent in Indianapolis, Jesse was the son of Jerry and Mary Wood Bragg.
Jesse was a senior at Hauser High School and attended C4 at Columbus East High School. He was employed at Hucks in Hope. Jesse was on the golf team at Hauser and attended church at Faith Chapel in Columbus. He loved spending time with family and friends, hanging out at the farm, and playing basketball and the drums. He adored all of his little nieces and cousins. His heart was as big as his smile.
Survivors include his parents of Hope; brother, John Bragg of Hope; sisters, Chelsea (Spencer) Bragg and Shantel (Jon) Hiday; half-brother, Dustin Bragg Michael of Columbus; nieces, Josie, Emma, and Makayla, all of Columbus; grandparents, John and Charlene Wood of Florida and David and Deede Bragg of Hope; aunts, Johnna Brockell of Florida and Lisa (Tony) Koopman of Columbus; uncle, Marty (Rhonda) Wood of Terre Haute; great-grandmother, Hattie Mae Caldwell of Hope; and several cousins, great aunts and uncles, extended family, and special family friend, Shila Gearhart.
A service will be held on Friday, December 2 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Hope, 455 Jackson Street Hope, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the church. Cremation will follow and inurnment will be at Haw Creek Baptist Cemetery in Hope at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to help defray funeral expenses.
